This introductory phase focuses on getting to know you and understanding your project scope, budget and timeline.  We will determine which service level best meets your design needs, and provide a proposal tailored to your project.  Once the contract is signed, your project will be scheduled.

After conducting a thorough site assessment and/or review of architectural plans, we will collect client inspiration and project-pertinent information, and engage our team of trusted consultants as needed.  We will research project-applicable building code, zoning parameters, and sustainability strategies and determine preliminary design direction based on your goals.

We will create a holistic vision of your new space, considering everything from the architectural details to the art & decor.  This is presented using 2D plans, inspiration images, and 3D renderings that depict style, materials, and colour scheme, so you can fully visualize the concept.  

We will assist in obtaining preliminary quotes, and compiling budget numbers for all aspects of the project from construction to furnishings to permit fees.  This information will allow us to refine our budget goal, evaluate the scope of the project, and confirm a contractor and/or project team to move forward with.

Collaborating with a team of trusted consultants, (including as needed: architectural designers, engineers, landscape designers or other specialized consultants), we will develop the details of the design, including the selection of all the finishes, fixtures, and furnishings to express your style or brand.  This will be presented with physical samples and photo realistic renderings.

The approved design will be documented in a precise interior design drawing and specification package that captures all design details for implementation, like lighting & electrical layouts, elevations, construction details and more.  We will assist with final pricing and/or bid & tender packages, and then finalize drawings for construction.

After guiding you through the permit process, project implementation will begin with a kick-off meeting to plan for construction and make any last adjustments to the design.  Project management services include collaboration with the contractor, regular site visits, review of shop drawings & submittals, and problem-solving as challenges arise. 

For a full-service experience, we provide procurement services for the full scope of customized furnishings, window treatments and décor through our exclusive Canadian-made, high-quality designer sources.  We will manage the ordering, tracking, shipping, and installation, taking care of all of the logistical details for you.

Using a combination of your personal momentos and thoughtfully-curated items, we will style your space with accessories, linens, plants, and artwork to complete the look and personalize the design.  We will takeover your space for the day for installation of furnishings and accessories so that you can walk into a magazine-worthy grand reveal.

Your full-service project will conclude with a final deficiencies inspection and presentation of your project close out package.  This package will include as-built drawings, warranty information and maintenance instructions, as well as guidance for maintaining a healthy indoor environment – everything you need to care for and enjoy your space for years to come.
