A collaboration with the talented Stone's Throw Design Inc, this small yoga studio project packs a big punch. Despite some challenging zoning circumstances, Stone's Throw Design expertly navigated the permit process to transform this old run down fireworks building into a modern new yoga studio for our client. With custom millwork and thoughtful space-planning, we made effective use of every square inch. Following the branding guidelines of this established franchise, we brought in a new twist on Oxygen Yoga's blue and green palette with deep, soothing hues paired with light woods and airy neutrals, and accented with a touch of brass. The combination creates a nature-inspired grounding effect on patrons coming to enjoy a hot yoga session. The main floor was maximized for a large studio and well-functioning reception and staff area while the compact basement was strategically planned to include individual showers, water closets and central changing area. What sets this space apart are the little details, from the brass hooks on the rustic brick wall to the black lit sign on the green wall. Welcome to Leaside Oxygen Yoga Studio.
